My name is Amanda I just joined this community. I am 27 and I have PCOS. I am starting a weight loss program and I need all the support I can get. MY number one concern is being healthy,but I am worried about the side effects of PCOs including weight gain,acne ,facial hair, and most of all infertilty.
I love working out..the eating is my struggle. I love food and I love to cook. I am a hair stylist and make up artist so feel free to ask me any beauty questions... I would like to hear what others are going through and what is working for them.

hi Amanda -- welcome! Man, I wish I had "known" you before I trusted my local hair person to choose the best color for me, a few days ago! (Mostly kidding; it's gradually fading....) Clearly others know, but what is PCOS?

It's great that you like to cook; I find it's fun (when I can make the time) to tweak recipes and make them healthier. I look forward to getting to know you!

Pcos ...is when you have cysts on your ovaries and it causes all sorts of other "issues"...
