Overweight Wisconsinite
Greetings! My name is Amy and I currently live in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It should come as no surprise that my indulgance in beer and cheese has caught up to me and now, two daughters later, I need to find the "real" me! I stumbled across this board today and am very excited to see what I can do! I have a trip in May to Chicago with a couple of gals and my first goal is to drop down a pant size so that I can buy shorts that actually fit! I wear a size 14 comfortably and can squeeze into a 12 but if I can buy size 12 shorts in May, I'll be past my first hurdle!!
I should add a little bit more about me. I've been married for 11 years to a fantastic man ~ after all, if he weren't fantastic, would I keep him? :) ~ we have 2 cute little girls aged 5 and 18 months. They got the cute genes in the family (thank goodness!). I am an elementary teacher and LOVE my job. I enjoy having extra summer time with my family and being able to work. My hubby's job gives us flexibilty too. I am an avid scrapbooker and like to stamp cards as well. I cannot wait for my daughters to get old enough to scrap with me. My 5-year-old is showing interest, so maybe soon!! I'll stop rambling...have a great day all!!! |

hi Amy -- welcome! I lived in Beloit WI for five years (go Packers!) and definitely miss the good beer and cheese. This site is really helpful; best wishes on your size 12 goal : )

Julie ~ When I first moved to Wisconsin, I moved to Oshkosh! My family is from there! I met my hubby there!! My parents, my in-laws and my brother and his family still live there. Crazy, small world, isn't it?!! |
