Hi there everyone...

I'm so happy to be HERE. I've been doing so much research online for varying things and have come across the 3FC's site numerous times. Recently though - I just realized they had THIS. A community of other people... just like lil ole me! ;)

Anyways... I'm Shauna... I'm 37. I'm a single mother of 2 girls (ages 17 & 15). I never did lose all the baby weight after my last child. Instead... over the past 15 years, I managed to gain and gain. I've said so many times that "this is it". I'm losing it all! I'd set dates and goals and ugh... I guess I was never all that serious about it - because I stayed FAT for all those years. A little over a year ago I managed to lose almost about 20 odd lbs and while I was thrilled with it - I still felt lousy. I would have chronic health problems and I'm sure many can be attributed to the weight. Since January, I've lost almost 12 lbs and already I notice a vast difference in how I feel. I'm completely determined to get rid of what's been weighing me down.

My goals this time around aren't just to lose the weight. I want to be HEALTHY... and I want to have ENERGY. Weight loss is just an added bonus.

I chose the name "momentum" - I hope for obvious reasons... I'm trying to move forward and keep moving forward.

PS I have a 17 year old too - the last one at home. Off to St. John's next fall - then - no kids at home! Guess the grandbabies will have to move in!!! ;)

Karen... I can't even imagine having grandkids yet. Although, so far... my eldest daughter promises she's going to wait until she's in her mid 20's to even think about marriage & kids. I'm sure I thought that too though - hehe
