Default Hello

I just found this site and all I can say is WOW. So much support and caring. I have finally decided to get rid of my baby weight. Figured it was time as she's now 9 years old.

So far I have changed what I eat and have started exercising. It's slow going, but I want to get it off and keep it off.

I get so tired of catching a glimpse in a mirror or a store window and asking who is that fat lady with my kids!

I know just what you mean. I never felt like I was that big, but then I'd see myself and get a bit of a shock. Changing my eating habits definitely kicked things into gear, though I'm exercising more now and loving it.

Looks like you're finding your way around and posting, which is great. Hope to see you around the boards! Best of luck with your goals!

Hi &

Doesn't matter if it's slow going, as long as it's forever, right? Have a look around & post wherever you're comfortable.

Best of success!!!

Welcome, to the forum!

Oh, yeah... those windows and mirrors that catch you off guard when you're not poised and holding in your stomach. I hear ya.

You're down eight pounds... that's wonderful! Keep it up. It is hard work, but it's worth it.

My reflection has occasionally shocked me, but somehow photos of myself are the worst! I'm often shocked by that fat person looking back at me.
