Default Hi Dierdre, I am also new!

Hi - I just joined 2 minutes ago, welcome! And by the way, I love Irish accents.

I have just begun here, and I don't have any great advice. Just the conviction that it can be done. Good Luck!

Thank you for the welcome . Good luck to you to on our jurney. I am afraid i have a mix of an accent as i was brought up in England so my accent is not one or the other.

You are going to be so inspired by this site, and will be meeting goals and feeling great!!

Once you have a great collection of healthy recipies (I am in the collecting process myself) cook ahead, and freeze things to make it easier to have healthy choices when life gets busy!!

hi deirdre! If you like to cook, you can fiddle with your favorite recipes (replacing sour cream with fat-free, replace oil in baked goods with applesauce, etc). There are LOTS of recipes available online for this kind of thing, and the new versions are amazingly tasty. (Plus, I bet you have some beautiful places to go for walks! My husband and I spent a week in Ireland a couple of summers ago, and ohmigosh....)
Welcome and good luck!

Hi yes there are lovely walks but as it has not stopped raining here in the last couple of months it is hard to get out and as we live by the sea it can also be very windy, but it seems to be changing since last weekend we even had sunshine. Looking forward to trying new recipies.
