I'm new : )
hi all -- I discovered this site a few days ago and have enjoyed browsing around. I'm following Dr. Ornish's low-fat guidelines, walking my dog, working out at Curves (well, I've gone once so far), and saying positive things to myself. You know how it's so easy to look in the mirror and say "I look like a cow"? Instead, I am looking in the mirror and saying "I am a person who makes good choices!" It feels a lot better!
I'm looking forward to getting to know some other "chicks" electronically : ) |

Hope you're finding your way around the boards. You might like to check out the Vegetarian Chicks forum, the Exercise forum, or one of the age specific clubs, if you're looking for a place to start. All over the board, you'll find challenge and chat threads, also. Challenge threads are usually where you'd set a goal of some sort that you want to meet, and that's a great way to make some closer connections with other 3FCers. Chat threads are just as they sound, usually chatting about a particular type of eating or exercise, or whatever subject, and it's a type of localized forum support, as well. Just cruise the boards and jump in anywhere you like! Best of luck with your goals! |
