Hello From Maryland!

  • Hey Everyone,

Im Jenn. I'm a mom of 3, a wife to 1, and a friend to many. I, like everyone here, have a problem with my weight. 2 years ago I lost over 65 pounds just cutting carbs. But guess what! All my weight is back again.

I can't stand it anymore. I decided to follow weight watchers points again. See how I do. I am motivated now, but my BIG problem is I LOVE FOOD!!! I have no will power. Anyone have any hints on how to walk away from the oooey gooey chocolate cake that screaming my name? LOL

    Nice to meet ya'll
  • hi! i'm in baltimore county myself.

as for just say no.... i found that South beach diet really did help curb my cravings for ooey gooey chocolate cake....
  • Hi, My advise? Quit dieting. The problem with diets is when you go off them, you gain the weight back. Why not try eating for health? And you can do that with WW, in fact, they encourage it. Changing the way you think about food is long term, and you have to make little changes as you progress.

We all love food. And chocolate should be a food group! Who couldn't love chocoalte! After you lose the weigth you can have a piece of that gooey chocolate cake on occasion, just not all the time. Plan for it and enjoy every bite.

Good luck, you can do this, ya know!
  • Ready or Not....
    Hello Everyone,

Today I begin my healthy lifestyle changes, 45 years old with 3 boys and 2 grandchildren. I want to run with them without passing out from exaustion. I am the heaviest I've ever been. This weekend I saw myself in a full length mirror and sat on the bed and cried...I have been looking at this site a long time, I feel inspired every time I come here. I'm going to take one day at a time.....
