Hi! I just found this forum (looking for a substitute for my LA Jetstart which is running low).
My name is Sue -- I have been on the PWL plan since Sept. 27th, 2007. Since the Centers closed I've been staying on track pretty well by myself -- and have reached my original goal of losing 40 lbs (as part of my own "Fit by Fifty" plan). At the ripe old age of 48, I now weigh less than I ever have in my adult life and I'm thrilled!
I'm now trying to lose another 5-10 lbs (to get rid of the "muffin top" and feel even better).
I'm glad to have found this site. It looks like there's some great info on the PWL plan. Hope I can also be of help to people on the plan -- or to anyone needing encouragement. I've become a bit of a "cheerleader" for getting fit and healthy since I've been on this weight loss "journey".

Congrats on losing those 40 lbs!!!! You may like to head over to the Maintainers area or Featherweights, or even the 40-somethings.

Vixjean, I did find the LAWL support folks yesterday (and got some good answers for my JetStart search) but thanks for the link.
