Hi from St. Louis

Hi, I'm Liz and I just stumbled onto this site when I was looking up on the "Crunchless Abs" commercial I saw. Google sent me to a link here and while surfing around the site I decided to join.

So guess I will let you all know a little about me. I decided to join since I am lacking in the support section of my life right now. My husband and I have just been stationed here in St.Louis moving me over 7 hours from my closest family and friends. Since making the move to a new state/city in December I figured it was the best time as any to change my habits. I joined Curves and go 3 times a week (this week going to try for more days), I have quit drinking sodas and alcoholic drinks, as well as pick up trying to eat healthier.

Hopefully this will help me with reaching my goal and finding some advice on helping to get rid of my final bad habits.

Hi Liz :wel3fc:

We're all about supporting people here :) Those small changes you've made will definitely add up. Have a look around, post where you're comfortable.

Best of success!

Liz, welcome!

WTG on dropping the sodas and alcohol, that will definitely help! I just gave up sodas recently. I hadn't planned on it, but in cutting other sugary things out of my life, like candy bars, sugary cereal, etc, I found that regular soda just tastes like a bottle of syrup now...ptooey!

Have a look around the forums, and post where ever you feel comfortable. You'll find lots of great support and ideas here!

Thanks for the welcome :)

I do hope all the little things start adding up. If anything I am feeling tons better. I think my kidneys are really thanking me for cutting out all the soda :)

Been looking around and you guys are really inspiring and make me feel like my goals are reachable. :D
