Yet another new member!

Well, i decided to find a forum today as i guess i was in denial up until now. I had been weighing myself in pounds rather than stones as it is less scary but today not realising someone had changed the setting on the digital scales, i saw my weight and it wasn't pleasent. I've decided that i want to lose weight so that i can feel good about myself and not hide away in massive jumpers etc. By the looks of things people are doing really well on here! I shall put all my failed dieting attempts down to that i'd never had support from anyone before, not even parents. Hopefully that will help spur me on! I started using this diet pill called 'Slim bomb' 2 days ago, I don't feel hungry at all and i just want to drink water all the time. I don't know whether it will help! I'm willing to try anything!
My first goal is to reach 230!
ldc :dizzy:
p.s. can't wait to get a ticker! i wonder how long that takes!

Welcome to 3FC! I'm so glad you found it. I love it!
It's great that you don't feel hungry, but I hope that you will keep eating anyway. If you eat too little your body will go into starvation mode and you won't lose weight.
You can add a signature/ticker after you've been around 30 days and have posted 30 times.
I hope you'll stick around, and keep letting us know how you're doing!
Beth

I'm definately sticking around! The past week i've been making sure i only eat 3 healthy meals a day and if i feel hungry between a meal i drink water and if that doesnt help then fruit!
Thanks for the quick reply!

Welcome!
You'll get a ticker after 30 posts/30 days. I just got mine today, I'm very happy about it!
I think you've already started reading about the different life-style changes people here have made, about the goals they achieved. It's really empowering, and you'll find great tips, sound information, great advice and a ton of support!

What kind of life-style change do you feel it's better for you?

I joined the gym in September '07 and went regularly for the first term of my school year and then after the christmas holidays i let it slip but now i'm back on it! In those 3/4 months i went to the gym i had more energy and it relieved sooo much stress, it was really good!
