HELP! losing control

help! i've gained 4 kgs in just 2 days. I used to be anorexic because of a truama 4 yrs ago, bt recently i had a relapse, and then i stopped eating for about a month, and a few days ago, i started to binge like crazy. Its making me feel very uncomfortable and then i want to puke it out. i've tried all sorts of method, sticking the finger, saltwater, anything. bt nothing works. all the food stays inside my stomach and makes me feel very uncomfortable. Is there anyway i can loss the 4kgs fast?

PLEASE talk to you parents. They WILL help you. They love you. As much as you don't think they are proud of you, they are. You have a serious illness that will only be helped by professional intervention -- you must seek help. The only way you can be helped is by obtaining a healthy and productive view about weight loss, and I think by talking to a professional, it will be substationally effective for you. Good luck :)

Please do as HarpoChico says above. Speak to someone you can trust. It sounds like it is time to talk about this with a professional.

Hi and welcome!

You will probably find support in these threads. http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=64 It's good to know that folks with problems like yours can and do get healthy.

Can you see someone by yourself? A school counselor or a women's walk in clinic?

They're still your parents, and they most definitely still care for and love you. It is okay to ask for help from them. It is okay to ask for help when we need it. Please reach out to someone around you! Your friends will most likely not try to emmulate, but will help get you the proper care you need. Sometimes it's the only way we can get better.

First off...breathe, just take a deep breath and realize that 4kg's is not the end of the world, nor is it the sum of your parts or of your worth as a person. And losing it as fast as possible, believe it or not, is not your biggest problem at the moment.

I know you're trying to master this (the binge eating, the starving, etc.) and basically wrestle your food issues to the ground but for you and all of us this is more about balance. I have to echo what everyone else has said and suggest that you get help and soon, its sounds like you may be in a spiral but you wouldn't have posted here if you didn't want help. I'm not sure of your location, (I'm in Illinois) but the website something-fishy.org (not sure if its ok to post other sites here, so just in case it gets automatically deleted or something here it is again something dash fishy dot o r g) may be of some assistance. It's a website on eating disorders and it also lists numbers and addresses where you can get treatment. You might even be able to just chat with someone over the phone right now. Please don't let this go any further, just reach out and find a program and/or someone to talk to.

Good luck, sweetie.

And one last thing, If you have friends that you fear triggering, another bit of advice I have is to branch out and make new friends, healthy ones. For your benefit as well as theirs.
