Coming out so to speak....

Hi there. I have been a avid daily lurker here for the past 9 months. I joined WW in April 2007 and have to date lost 29lbs. Its been a long hard road for me so far. I keep self sabotaging and wont allow myself to hit the 30lb mark. I go off program and gain and then lose the same 5lbs since October.

I have been sick this past 2 weeks with my kids flu/cold/sinus infection and decided I needed a mental and physical break from WW. Its time to buck up and get my arse back on track to shed these last 21 lbs. I am sure I have a 2-3lb gain and that will likely come off the first week like usual. But I so need to extra push to get myself back and stay put.

I am very dedicated to achieving lifetime, thats my goal. I of course could pocket the $39.99 a mo and spend it elsewhere but the "Lifetime" achievement is what usually keeps me going.

I also dread any form of exercises unless it walking. Sadly its winter and snow and freezing here in Chicago so my activity has been none for months. I have weights and a treadmill in my basement, I'm just very lazy I admit.

Spring and thin is what I need!!!

I am a SAHM mom to 2 kiddos, I have a 3 yr old son and a 11yr old daughter. I am married to a man who's very overweight but just not motivated to do anything about it. I do feel at times he help sabotage my new lifestyle efforts.

I can cook a very balanced healthy meal and he will make some sort of comment on how it would be better with, this or that...usually a thick sauce or more meat! I shamefully admit I have not been very nice to him on his weight issues. My daughter is looking and feeling amazing as shes eating healthier and it truly shows. So thats a plus for a pre teen! Shes wonderful and a great help to me with the program. I couldn't ask for a more supportive person than she is.

Well there it is...I am here and asking for help. I need the push and support and motivation to keep going. Quiting is easy and I don't want to quit. I want to be thin and be comfortable in my skin. I want to be a fun mom who can keep up with my kids and look and feel confident and be healthy.

Welcome! :welcome3:
It must be difficult not having your husband "on board" with you, but I think it's wonderful that you're emphasizing the benefits of good eating to your kids.
You can't change your husband, but hopefully he'll come around to your way of thinking. You're a great example for your family.
