I'm new, be nice!

    I'm from Toronto and I'm here to loose 25 pounds "before this gets too far". This gaining weight thing I mean. I'm also trying to run 10k in May.

    To answer the question, I started running last year and did a 10k. I slacked off a little after school started but still ran like 5 miles a week or so. This week is my last week of building my milage then I start the "quality workouts", which I've never really done before.

    I've been exercising for a while but it doesn't seem to change anything weight wise; that's why I've finally decided to look to my diet.

    I'm so psyched about this forum. I've already posted 15 times today!

    Exercise alone doesn't usually help weight. Best to do both diet & exercise
