Hello everyone. I came across this forum and thought I would join up. I need ideas and encouragement to help me lose weight. I was never heavy until I was about 40 years old. Divorce, menopause, and stress seemed to be the beginning of my weight gain, but it's 15 years later and I find I am out of excuses. After reading some of the success stories on this forum, I think I may have found a good place to start my journey. I look forward to all your words of wisdom. :D

HI - I'm also a new member from southern CA! I've been on JC for 1 week now - first weigh in I lost 3.8 pounds! But, today I really went off - I ate Valentine Candy (lots) from my 1st graders - UGH!!! I know that "tomorrow is another day" and that starts now for me! I too would like to have a buddy to help me lose forever these 80 pounds - to keep me motivated and on track.

I'm on Day Four of my BistroMD diet delivery service and I am loving it! I have about 60 pounds to lose, ideally.
