Cool New from NC

Hey everyone! I just started the Beverly Hills Weight Loss plan on Tuesday. I'm 28 and I've been overweight all my life, I've tried to eat better but it's just never happened for me. I started this plan at an opportune time because I always said if I ever hit 250 I would be extremely upset with myself. Well my first weigh-in was 251. I can't believe I let myself get this far but things happen, life gets hectic and I just let myself get this big! UGH!

Luckily through my job I am able to do this plan for no cost to me except the starter kit.

So far I am doing well but of course I have cheated. I have a horrible sweet tooth, ice cream is my favorite food, and Girl Scout Cookie season just arrived! But instead of eating a whole sleeve, I ate just two in one day! A big victory for me if I do say so myself.

My philosophy is I need to have a little bit of that every once in awhile because I will binge like nobodies business if I don't.

Anyway I look forward to any advice, questions, comments, etc and I'm happy to be here!

Hi and welcome!

I can't honestly tell you if we have any Beverly Hills threads. But I'll help you search if you'd like.

I did want to say that I like your 'little bit' philosophy. Total deprivation does not appeal to me!

Welcome to the forum!

Wow, anyone who can eat just two Girl Guide cookies is amazing in my eyes.

Hi and welcome. Yes, I do believe of not depriving myself either, It always ending real bad for me. I always lose out to choclate, so this time I am having ff,sf hot cocoa everyday whether I want it or not. So hopefully I dont get the cravings and lose my battle. Good luck on your journey.

Talking Thank you!

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone! I'm glad my "little bit" theory seems okay. I was thinking I was being very bad! I'm starting the lean, mean and green phase today which means for the next three days I can only eat lean meat and green vegetables. But I can eat all I want of it. Wish me luck!
