Returning to the Beach
Hi,
After losing 85 pounds in 2003 doing South Beach, my life journey hit some major bumps. In the years since regained 33 pounds. I can't believe that I let that experience of good health just slip away. Started again this January 7th. I have lost 12 pounds so far. Feeling excellent after an initial rough first two weeks. The first time I used walking and have started again with that too. I am doing 10K five days a week. Feeling positive and excited to be back on track. When I was away from SB I tried other diets to get back on track including counting calories. Why do that when I was so successful before? I think its a combination of emotional eating and "magical thinking"! :dizzy: So far from what I've read this looks like a good place to be. |
Congratulations for getting back on program. That was one of the hardest things for me. I just started back to Weight Watchers where I lost 70 lbs the first time around two years ago. But stick with what works for you. Good luck!!
