Hi from a Newbie!

Hello Everyone!

I'm new here and been lurking for a few days, everyone seems to be so helpful and supportive here. And so much information.

A little about me, I've been on the weight roller coaster form most of my life - as I reflect back the times I have been thin have been the happiest of my life - did more, felt better about myself and life....so why don't I just realize it's a lifestyle change and not a diet and get on with it.

I started the journey for the last time December 30th of 2007 at 215 lbs., and 40.2% body fat, my goal is whatever weight to get to 20% body fat. I think I have it figured somewhere between 130 and 140.:?: Right now I'm just focused on making sure I am making healthy choices as far as my nutrition and need to get my fat bum to exercise. I understand the importance, I just don't like to exercise (I even have a gym membership)

Looking forward to making new friends here as we support ourselves on this journey.

Hey Lady Nascar - :wel3fc:

You seem to have a great starting attitude...this is a lifestyle change, you've gotta just do it...all great steps to keep in mind.

Keep posting! You may want to visit our "Exercise Accountability" thread in the "Exercise" forum...just posting every day goes a long way toward keeping you accountable while you work on making exercise a habit.

Otherwise, find a spot and settle in. Can't wait to get to know you better!
