Hello from Minnesota. I found this website in a Women's Health Magazine, and decided to check it out. From what I can see it has helped many people overcome a long struggle with their weight, and i guess i'm hoping to do the same. I'm 23, and have been overweight all of my life constantly losing weight and gaining it, and i guess i'm getting tired of that whole cycle. i want to lose it for good, and finally look like how i feel inside. i'm excited to see that there are so many people here that support eachother and are always there to lend a helping hand. I would like to join a competition if there are any going on that anyone knows about let me know!

Thanks girls for the replies. Hope to see you all around, and congrats for getting out of the tundra lol. The only good thing is being able to hide under sweaters. Until the summer comes then it's like wow where did ALL OF YOU come from LOL....

Sally-congratulations on 20lbs lost! It seems like this site is so positive, and everyone's level is so different but we're all working towards a common goal...kind of nice to talk to people who understand. Where did you get your avatar?
