Hi, My name is Patti, I'm 46 newly married for a year now to an old childhood friend. I have one daughter that is 29 and three grandchildren who light up my life when they are around. I've been fighting my weight since I was in grade school and have now ballooned up again and hate it.

I just started my MRC diet today and to think that I can not have cokes anymore is about to push me over the edge. I just found the site and was checking out some of the posts and noticed how encouraging everyone is of the others...that is something that I need at this point to really get this diet kicked off right. My husband is behind me 100% and will be eating the same foods as I will....he will be cooking too :) I also noticed on a thread where ya'll are buying things at other places???? That is not interfering with the weight loss like the great gals at MRC said it would???

I hope to be here everyday so be looking for me.
