A Quick Hello From Canada
 

Hi there,
I'm not very good at opening up my emotions, but I can also see the benefit of having support. And having read this site for a few weeks, everyone seems very nice and supportive so I figured I should quit hiding in the shadows and just introduce myself.

I'm in my 30s, with a weight problem that took me by surprise the past few years. I've largely been healthy and active my whole life, and the circumstances I'm in now are really beyond my experience.

I hope to learn from you all. And maybe share some of my own experiences as I get more comfortable here.

Thanks for reading. I'll hope to talk to some of you over time. :)

From the Maritimes to Manitoba... plus Quebec?!? So there's still a hint of poutine... one of my few dietary weaknesses! :)

Mostly, I'm not a junk food junky, but boy, do I have a soft spot for good poutine! I actually made some over xmas with the leftover goose gravy... :nono:
