Hello everyone!
Hi! My name is Jaimie, and I am a mother of three, ages 5 mos, 1, and 5. I have been "snooping" around this site forever, and I finally decided to join. I started my weight loss journey about 10 days ago. I started by taking before pics after the premier of the Biggest Loser Couples, which is a big motivator for me. I was 199.5 that day, Jan 1st. I started my journey the following Sunday. Today is my tenth day, and I weighed 193. Definitely not as impressive as the BL people, but it is great for me. I am doing it the right way this time, by working out and eating right. I have had no pop since Jan 1st, which was my new years resolution. I am actually okay with it. I sure fall asleep faster at night without all the caffeine! I have not fallen off the wagon yet! I have been faithfully working out as well, which has always been a tough one for me. My husband is helping me, and doing this with me. He started at 210 and was 204 yesterday. I think we can pull this off with support from eachother. I thought that joining a forum might give me a sense of accountablility. I look forward to getting to know you all!

Biggest Loser is so great, isn't it? Such a wonderful motivator to so many people. Congratulations on your losses so far, and on having found someone to go on this journey with you. Both will help you as you move forward. We have tons of forums here, based on the sort of plan you're following, your age, or lots of other miscellaneous things, so find a spot or two and keep posting. I can't wait to hear more from you soon! |
