Newbie here
 

Hello! I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Misty and I have had so much trouble losing weight for about the past 4 years. About a year after having my youngest daughter I gained about 20 pounds in less than a month. I couldn't get it off no matter what I did. Finally the dr diagnosed me with hypothyroidism. Right after being diagnosed we moved to Puerto Rico (military family) where I had a dr that would not listen to anything I said and didn't do anything different to try and help get my dosage right, so even with diet and exercise I continued to gain....not as quickly but still gained. I went from about 145 - 195 in 2 years. I am now with a dr that I love and she has gotten me on the correct dosage. So, needless to say I now have no excuse not to be able to lose weight. I know that it may take a little longer than I would like but it still needs to come off. I am down to 183 so I know things are getting better but I still have so far to go and I am one that needs lots of encouragment to keep going. So, I am hoping by reading everyones achievments will help me to continue on my way to finding the skinny girl trapped in this huge body.:carrot:

Sounds like things are looking up!!! I am new here too. It looks like we have about the same amount of wight to lose so maybe we could stick together? I am mom to 3 amzing kid's and have an awesome husband ( who has graciously never said a thing about my weight). Looks like you're gonna do great!!!
