Hi, all! I'm so looking forward to getting to know some of you. I started my blog yesterday and am really trying to learn how to navigate all of this technology...so be gentle! Also, I am revved up about beginning my weight loss journey again. Thanks to the support and comments from some of you already on the blog. Just briefly, I'm 52, weigh about 280 (aaakkk!), have a sweet dear hubby (3rd time is a charm, right?), 3 daughters between us, and 5 grandbabies! I smoked for 30 years and had a heart attack and quad by-pass in 2001. Diagnosed with diabetes about 2 years ago and it's progressing. Well, it was progressing...now it will be reversing.:carrot: Ya'll have a great evening and we'll see you on the boards!

There's plenty of reasons to lose weight... looks, health, happiness... It's scary to be faced with the fact that what we have chosen to eat and do for the years past has dangered what years we have left in front of us!

Do it for YOU! You can do it... it's never easy, but as someone else on here said, I'll take the struggle to stay on plan at -100 pounds ANY DAY over the struggle to fit into society, my clothes, arm chairs, and so many other things I couldn't do when I was fat.
