I wanna meet my collarbones!!

  • Hi all! After 28 years, curiosity has finally gotten the best of me and I have decided to try to discover my collarbones!! I have been overweight my whole life, maxing out at 270lbs several years ago. At that time, I started (with the help of a wonderful friend) using portion control and daily exercise to lose 60lbs. Then, some big changes happened, I moved away from my friend and lost my motivation. I have since regained about 25 lbs. So, I'm starting this journey at 235lbs. I am again employing portion control and exercise as my mantra but lack a support system. Therefore, I am appealing to this site to share my successes and mourn my failures. Most of all, I need a place where people understand what I am going through. Most of my friends have never been fat and therefore cannot truly appreciate my struggle. I hope to be a source of encouragement and receive the same as well!

I look forward to "meeting" you all!!

  • Stephanie Glad you joined us. Best wishes to you on your new way of life.
  • ! You might meet your collarbones sooner than you'd think.

This site is an OUTSTANDING support system. I would have never gotten off my butt and lost the weight without the support of the members on here. It can be hard to find outside support, as people either don't understand, don't care, or say they want to lose weight with you when they really do not have any dedication or determination to go with the desire.

Looking to see more of you here! Oh, I'm Aidyn, BTW *e-handshake thing*
