Ready to de-lurk!
Hi I've lurked here for awhile. I tried South Beach Diet last summer for about 8 weeks and I lost about 10 lbs. I maintained mostly for the past yearish, but haven't been able to stick to the SBD. I'm now up again to my highest weight, not including preggo weight. It needs to come off. I've been running and not really following a diet, just trying to eat healthy and nothing is coming off. I decided to give weight watchers a try. I like the freedom of not worrying as much about the carbs I'm eating. I've also kicked up my workout to add more weight lifting, and more cardio combined w/ my runs. Hopefully this will help me reach my goal!! I'm very short (4' 9")so every extra lb seems like 5.
I set my goal at 98 which seems a little low, but I think on my frame it is possible. I look forward to chatting with everyone as we all try to reach our goals in this new year! |

Hey! I'm pretty short too, so I know what you mean about being short and every pound seems like 5! The good thing is though that when you lose a few pounds, you can really notice the difference :)
