Garfield, NJ area needs a "real life" buddy
 

I need a real life buddy in the area (Northern NJ) that is on or just beginning the weight loss journey whom would be interested in taking some beginner martial art classes. I have ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE and want to start taking beginner adult classes. I found a few dojos in Clifton, Lodi, and here in Garfield if anyone in those areas is interested. It would be great to get a group together to go if at all possible. :jig::jig::jig:

I don't know if you're going to find anyone that close to you to take classes with you. HOWEVER - I hope you won't let that stop you from starting them at all. Martial arts can be so empowering, fun, and yes, a great workout. So even if you don't have a buddy, go! It may be a little uncomfortable at first, but soon you won't even notice anyone else.

No kidding, but figured I'd get it out there just in case! If no one is that close I'll start in January and take advantage of all the New Year specials! I hope it's as fun as you described! :-)
