As my login suggests, my name is Lori. I was a part of the South beach for beginners for awhile and lost 17 pounds. I stopped attending there and gained 8 back :(. I tried going back there but the site link isn't cooperating. So here I am, ready to make a new commitment and new friends!!

Last week Fricay 11/30/2007 I joined Curves. I've worked out four times since then and feel great. But I know I need to jump back onto the south beach wagon again! I also need support! Can that be found here? We'll see.

I look forward to getting to know you all.

My name is Gabriella and I am also brand new to this community. I have just discovered the wonderful community support that forums can have and I am so excited to be a part of this group. There is so much great information and motivation.

Congrats on going back to the gym and your determination to make your plan work and reach your goals. Your spirit is awsome. This is a difficult time of year to start a program but we have to do it.

Thanks for replying! And congratulations to you as well for making the commitment! I am afraid my busy schedule will not allow me to check in here and I"ll get off base, so if you see me absent more than two days, IM me!!!!!!! I truly feel I need encouragement!

I weighed in today and am down to 186, that's encouraging, but these 8 pounds, 180 to 188 come and go quickly for me, I'll lose it then gain it all right back... so when I hit 170's I'll start getting excited again! hahahaha
