Post Hysterectomy/New Me

Well I am so tired of making excuses and blaming others and surgery for my weight gain. I woke up today with a whole new attitude for my life. I am going to start working on my weight, just alittle at a time... mini goals, and when get to the weight that looks good on me.

I had my hyster. back in May and have not done anything about trying to lose weight since then. I was doing really good until last year when I started having alot of trouble. I am only 35 and know that I do not need to be weighing this much... I hope to find friends and support here at the site.

If anyone has any tips or would like to help coach me into the life that I so desire.... it would be greatly appreciated.

~Kim

This is great. You truly want to make a change for the better forever, and that's wonderful. Do you have any sort of food or exercise plan you're going to start? If you haven't, plan to try tracking your food in some way (calorie counting or just writing down what you eat) and if you can schedule in a small bit of exercise to start. Short walks, taking the stairs... little things :)

Small changes, small steps, it'll all add up!

Best of luck!

I do have a little bit of a plan. I am counting calories, journaling what I eat, and trying to eat 5 - 6 meals a day. I am going to first start off by doing crunches first thing in the morning, before I get out of bed... parking at the far corner of the parking lot at school... I hope that will help out with the weigh loss...
