Aussie Looking For Support

  • Hi I,m Julie I,m from a country town in NSW I,m 49 I have been on this weight loss train of and on for years tried everything. I have just started WW points and seem to be doing OK I don,t attend meetings due to the fact that the nearest one is 30 min drive plus cost is another factor. I have been a member of 3fc of and on for about 4yrs and have recieved a lot of support and made some lovely friends but can always use some more of each. I find getting motivated for exercise my biggest challenge as I,m limited to the type of activity I can do I have bursitis in my hip and leg so sometimes pain hinders what I would like to do.

    We do have some Ozzies--as I'm sure you know.

    I hope you can find some relief for your bursitis--it's not fun. Does your dr. suggest any exercises/activities you should do--or should avoid?

  • Thanks Jay, no real exercises jsut a bit of walking and my indoor bike but not to overdo it, I,m getting cortisone injections for the pain, WW is going good losing slowly but surely.
