I'm new

Hello! I'm kind of surprised to find myself here, but here I am. I've been struggling to lose weight since before my first pregnancy. I was heavy when I got pregnant, gained a bunch of weight and then stayed heavy. I managed over a few years to get down to 168 (only with the help of gallbladder attacks - that really made it easier to stick to a diet!!) and then got pregnant again. This time I worked hard not to gain 70lbs again and that helped. So now I've lost the baby weight plus a bit, but now I've stalled for a while. I can't seem to get past this point, so I figure maybe with support this time I'll be able to do it.

I've been working hard to eat 8-10 fruits and veggies a day and now I've started counting calories (again) and that usually works if I can stick to it. That's where the problem is!! I've got to stick to it this time. Gaining the weight back isn't really an option for me and I really want to get to my goal. And then I can make the new goal, but one step at a time, right?

I hope that seeing everyone here who's working hard at getting where they want to be will help me stay on track...

Hey Clumsy68,
I am new to this support group thing as well. I gained a ton of weight with my first pregnancy and seemed to just start to loose when I got pregnant again. I feel your pain.

A year ago I had finally managed to loose 45 lb. but gained 35 of it back. OUCH!!! I am hoping that having people to talk with will keep me accountable to what I put in my mouth.

Keep up the hardwork and hopefully we'll both get to where we need to be.

Great to meet you both! I'm totally in need of someone to help me stay accountable. It's so easy just to eat and then forget that I did. Oops!

With two little ones, how do you find time to exercise? that's the hardest part for me, so I'm trying little stuff through the day. Not as satisfying as a nice run or anything, but a bit is better than nothing, I think?

Good luck to you too!!!
