Hi...need advice where to post....
 

Hello to all,

I'm already a member of the forum, but, have been away from it for awhile. My life has changed dramatically, and have gained all my weight back (plus more) from "comfort" eating. I've always been the one that everyone comes to when they need someone to "listen". So, now that I need someone to listen to me, I don't know where to turn. I have a lot of friends that know my problems and are sympathetic, but, I try to stay "uplifted" for when they need me. The main reason I'm this way is because I do volunteer work at a christian tv station and feel that my ministry is to help others, and to be available for them, I have to forget my problems until I get home. Then I fall apart and go to eating. I do get to talk to a couple of very close friends sometimes, but, I don't want to talk about myself so much. It's getting hard to help others when I need so much help myself.

I've been thinking that I might find a forum to post and vent. Maybe someone is willing to listen and post to me. I need to lose this weight. My blood pressure is up and I know it would help that, also. I'm sorry if I'm whining, I'm just feeling desperate these days.

Didn't mean to write a book. Just thought I'd tell a little about myself, so it would help with advice.
