Newbie starting Glucophage today-PCOS/IR
 

Hey all.
Am finally getting some real answers about PCOS and weight loss from a new doc and am starting Metformin today. Would love to hear from other ladies similar to me...or not similar,if you have any words of advice or encouragement. Here's a bit about me...
33 years old
PCOS since...forever. I've only had about a dozen "natural" periods in my life, have amenorrhea due to PCOS so I'm not ovulating. Probably.
Not TTC yet...but in the next year or so. After I lose 40lbs.
None of the normal PCOS symptoms...am not hairy, no darkening of skin or masculine characteristics. Just no periods at all.
