Newbie from NYC
Hi everyone -
I'm new to the board and looking for some friends. I am aiming to lose 85 pounds by next summer using exercise and healthier eating habits. I'm 30, I work full time and am a senior in college in addition to raising my very active preschooler. I always feel pressed for time but I have had enough of feeling sluggish and held back by this extra weight. I have decided that becoming healthier has to be my number one priority before I start developing serious side effects from being overweight.
I hope to become acquainted with many of you!

Hello fellow New Yorkers. Pinkislove, you've definitely come to the right place for support. Exercise and healthy eating habits are the way to go; it's the magic bullet if you will, along with consistency. Good luck on your journey.

KO - I am planning on counting calories to make sure I am eating enough and most importanly exercising!

Pink that sounds Great! remember not to start out with too low of a # of calories so you have somewhere to drop too

Welcome! It sounds like you have a great plan (calorie counting and exercise) that many of us here at 3FC follow. I feel for you, though, being from NYC. I always GAIN when I visit my friend in New York; there's just sooo much good food everywhere! Eating is one of my favorite things to do when I visit the city. But, I know you are more used that than I am, so I hope it won't be a problem for you. Best of luck to you, and I'm sure we'll run into each other on 3FC.
