Hey everyone:wave:
I have a new doctor and she tells me I'm too fat so here I am.....finally frustrated enough to at least give it a try lol. Well I've always been chubby but about four years ago I got the Depo Provera birth control needle and along with major family problems I managed to gain about 60 lbs. in about three years and the last year it was mostly just trying to keep the same weight...try to level off I guess. I've been reluctant to get going for a few reasons I guess. One being that well..I'm lazy :lol: another being that I hate all these new commercials and tv shows that make you feel like you have a disease or something...the new media kinda treats overweight people like they are modern day Lepers or something and that just makes me not want to fall into their have-to-be-skinny-to-be-likeable charade. I found this site and got pretty excited, and actually more motivated. I mean I never assumed or felt like I was the only one or anything like that but it's just really nice to see real people who are in the same boat as I am and also to see people who are the same height as me and had the same starting weight as I have and they are really doing it...really taking it off! Not some garbage commercial were they don't even use the same people in the before and after photos LOL Well that's me and I'm so glad to be able to be here.
