Hi, We are two girls in our early twenties who are tired of being fat! We have tried various diets in the past and we have given up because we are surrounded by fresh baked, from scratch cookies and brownies. Daily. Carrots just don't look as good as a warm chocolate chip cookie.
We are starting, again, the Sonoma Diet. Round two. We had pretty good success on the first time losing 45lbs combined. So we are joining the forum in hopes of finding the strength to carry on.
Please help.

I think you're lucky. You get a chance for greatness everyday by avoiding temptation. Any jerk can stick to a diet if they sit in their house surrounded by celery sticks. But if you can get through your day in the bakery, what can't you get through? That's the way I would look at it.
Welcome to the boards.
Oh man, you do have a challenge there, don't you! But if you're anything like me, you do get sick of those things after a bit....I know when I worked in coffee, there was nothing I wanted less than coffee at the end of the day. So its workable.
We have a Sonoma forum here - look around and keep posting!
