I am a 23 year old woman from South Africa. I am so delighted with this site! It is marvellous to see that people can support and encourage each other. I stumled over this site while I was investigating certain conditions on the net. My weight is at about 240 pounds and I struggle to losse it. I have been overweight for about 9 years at least. I have been diagnosed with PCOS and the doc is investigating a good possibility of insulin resistance. I thought this would be the ideal place to share my experiences and findings.

So here is to many more discussions!

im a soon-to-be 25 year old SA girl in london...111.4kgs and losing :) not sure what your condition is but you should have a look and see if you can get Lighter Life in sa. its a medically monitored food replacement diet with counselling sessions to deal with the root of the issue....happy dieting

I have a close friend who lived in South Africa when she was a kid. (They moved to the states when she was..... 7 I think.)
