Many hello's from Canada! I found out about this great site quite accidentally the other night while wandering through the local library and discovering the 3 Fat Chicks book. After reading about the website I decided that it was something I needed to experience. I have been fighting the battle most of my life, and have lost the same 80 pounds three times (it must really like me, it keeps coming back). I live in a very small town with no support groups that I am aware of, and while my husband really thinks he's being supportive, I am not helped or motivated by hearing "you look great just the way you are" . Hopefully this site and the different groups on it can help me get where I want to be and stay there!

I have the best memories in Neepawa. My Dad grew up there (his Dad was the town shoemaker how many decades ago).

I live in Thompson (yes, it's actually the 3rd largest city in mb) so maybe I'll see you on that canucks thread! I just joined too
