Hi from NC
 
Hello everyone! I am Christine from North Carolina. I am 31 and trying again to lose weight, exercise and be healthy. I am married and have to kids ages 6 and 8. I have struggled with my weight for past several years.

I have done Weight Watchers 3 times in the past and have lost weight but my last experience with the meeting was not good and I quit after a few meeting and a few comments from the staff about my not losing what they expected. I have been reading this site for a few weeks and joined yesterday. Everyone here seems very supportive and helpful.

I started exercising and eating better about 3 weeks ago. My treadmill and bike have not seen this much use since I brought them. :o

I look forward to getting to know many of you.

Hi Christine, welcome to 3FC! We're glad to have you with us :) Congrats on exercising and putting that equipment to use! It sounds like you are off to a great start :) Are you following a specific diet now, or are you doing your own thing?

I am following Extreme Fat Smash diet. I will probably switch to regular Fat Smash or go to a calorie counting diet. I purchased the book and ran from the bookstore within really looking at it. :o After reading some of it I realized you should only use it if you need to lose about 25 pounds. I started using the plan instead of delaying the start of my diet to go buy another book and read it and then start. No more excuses! - I keep telling myself!

I just joined myself yesterday also. So welcome from one newbie to another.

Good luck to you and keep up the great work!

I know how hard it is to stay motivated and I'm going to try my darndest to do it for good this time and am hoping talking to others in my same boat will help me reach my goals.

You even figured out how to put the goal ticker thing on there! Way to go. I still haven't figured that one out yet.
