Default Hello From Utah

I am 30 years old and would like to lose 145 pounds. I am very busy and hardly home I need a diet plan that is easy and flexible. I have a very hard time with snacking during the day. Does anyone have any suggestions on which plan would be best for me. I have thought about Low carb high protein but I am not a meat person. Any suggestions??? Thanks

HI and
I suggest you read alot of the boards and see what might be for you, I don't eat red meat , and poultry and find it hard to eat high protien, but I am trying. I am a big snacker also, and I think one thing that has helped me is accountability, I use a free online food diary( fitday.com) and it helps me see what I am eating in the day. Another thing that has helped is the desire not to be like this, I have bought a mirror, a scale and use them everyday, to see what I look like and where I am loosing. I don't do any real diet, I just watch calories, and exercise, and it is possible to exercise at our size, just walk if you want, or whatever. I do wish you good luck and hope to see more of your posts. I know you can do this if you really want it!!

I love LA Weightloss! I don't really feel like it is a diet. It is just being smart. It has taught me how to eat real foods in the proper portions. Good stuff for life!

Calorie restictive Optimum nutition C.R.O.N. diet , Life style change is not easy.
Snack on several nutritous meals all day long instead of eating it all a once.
nutrient dense vegetables, cut out sugar, flour and bread.
