My name is Jennifer and I'm tired of being fat!
I've been on a variety of diets with varying degrees of success (50 pounds on Body for Life, 40 on Atkins, 15 on Cabbage Soup), but I can't stick to any of my previous diet plans. I'm on day 3 of the Sonoma diet and am LOVING it. A lot of planning and cooking, but it's worth it!
I teach ballroom dancing and ride my arabian horse (Molly) in dressage. For both, I really need to be fitter! I'm currently a size 20 and if I get to a 16 I'll be pretty happy although 14 would be even better. If I'm never a barbie again I can live with that, I just want to be a more reasonable size. |
Welcome and good luck, did you notice there is a Sonoma diet forum?
|
I did...unfortunately no one posts there anymore!

Hi Jennifer
Good luck to you. I think we are all tired of being fat. We have to stick together and gain a lot of motivation from the people here. I know you can do it.

Good luck to you and welcome. You are on the right track by being here. We all do our own thing. No one approach works for everyone. That is why the diet industry is a billion dollar industry. I count calories, exercise and eat healthy whole good for me foods. I changed my terrible eating habits after reading YOU on a diet and Superfoods Rx. I strongly recommend them A little knowledge can change your life. I know it did mine.

Beth -
I have to ask, how did you lose 85 pounds? That's wonderful, and I see I am around the same starting weight you were. Care to share your secrets? Angie |
Honestly I just ate less calories than my body burned. I stopped eating all fast food, sweet and sodas (pop).
Somedays I didnt eat enough food and thats probably why i am gaining it back so easy |
