new here - depressed and ready to lose
 

Hello. I'm Jenny. I'm 32 and I'm fat. I've always been "big" but now I've been fat for 7 years and I've lost 30 pounds twice, but never held. My husband reminds me I need to lose weight but isn't supportive about helping. We haven't had any intimacy in our relationship for a long time and it's because of my weight. It's given me the quick kick to the rear that I've needed to get going but now I'm so down about all of it that I'm blaming everyone other than myself for how I am.

Anyway, I'm here and I'll need support and it looks like this forum is a great way to get it! I have a 2 stage approach to weight loss...lose some weight quickly to get me motivated and then focus on being healthy and eating healthy so I can maintain forever. I have some intestinal trouble that doesn't allow me to eat too many raw veggies or fruits all at once so Weight Watchers did me in a few years ago, but now that I've learned what does bother me, I should be better off.
