Newbie on a Mission!
 

Hello Everyone! I've been lurking for the past couple of weeks now & since my Fat Smash book came in the mail today, it was time for me to say hi!

Let me introduce myself, I'm Michelle & I'm on a mission to drop some weight. I've always had some kind of weight issue through out my 30 years, but this time I'm going to go about it the right way.

I just recently got engaged to the most incredible man in the World & that has pushed me to want to be at my goal weight. Last August, my fiance' & I started working out on a regular basis along with cutting out most bad foods. I lost 25 pounds by December & then I plateau'd. Before I knew it, I had given up on it all but only managed to gain back 5 pesky pounds. I would love to be able to lose another 30 pounds before my wedding (October 11, 2008) & would be beside myself if I lost 40 pounds. In my perfect little fantasy world, I would love to get to that weight by December 31st, 2007.

I currently weigh 200 pounds & am 5'10". So I do believe that my goal is very much attainable. I just might need someone encouraging me to not give up & remind me that I have a skinny wedding dress to buy!

Hello Michelle, and welcome! And Shannon, I am right here with both of you on the height... 5'9" here! But if we all keep working really hard we can be "tall and skinny" -- in my case a "tall, skinny blonde." :) Lots of work to go for me to get there though!!! But we can do it! Glad you both found us! :yes:
