I was here years ago, didn't keep up with all of my hard working sisters and fell away - my old account may be there still under a different name, but I'm embarrassed to look at it. I really need a fresh start. My attitude of late has really been "I don't give a damn"! My husband is ill - manageable, but knowing it will be the end of him sooner than later is still hard. I have three teenagers. Mostly good, but they are teenagers. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I've had enough of my own personal pity party and need to get my life back! I'm returning to the gym with a friend and am going to try following the weight watchers plan without actually joining. The breast cancer is a constant distraction - but i have to find a way to get over it and into some kind of shape. My cousin is haveing a HUGE wedding in the fall and I don't want to be the FatCousin!

welcome! Im real sorry to hear about your illness.

Surgery is next week - it's early stage so I'm really hoping the follow-up treatment will be minimal.
How long ago was it for you? and what motivated you to get healthy again? Looks like you've done a wonderful job!

Hi , Welcome back to the group, I am sorry for your illness and your husband's . You will be in my thoughts. I am here for my 3rd time( 3rd time is a charm isn't it?), so you are not alone. I post to the 100 lb support group, they are great, there are lots of great places here, just find the right one for you. Good luck with your surgery , you can do it, you are a strong women!!!!
