Hi everyone. :) I'm Carolyn. I'm 38, a jewelry designer, a blogger(mostly reality tv, although i also started a BigFatBlog recently), a reasonably cool person fully in touch with her inner geek, and on a quest to lose a LOT of weight! Somewhere in the neighborhood of 100... Can't say for sure, i haven't gotten near a scale in about 8 years - skinny or fat. I started in tight 20s and I'm shooting for the 6s and 8s still hanging in the back of my closet.

I've been re-committed to myself for just over a month now, and I'm looking for a support group, not because I feel like I'm about to falter, but because it's just nice to talk with others going through the same stuff!

I wont bore you with an enormously long first message (although, perhaps I already have). Just wanted to stick my head in and say hi to everyone.

I too, am from S. Florida. Lots of reminders of why I'd like to lose weight walking all over the beaches. LOL
