Hi, everyone!

I'm 38 and 249 pounds. My cholesterol is really high, I have a major family history of heart disease. I have a 3 year old son and a lot to live for. But my self esteem has never been worse--that makes me want to eat! Like so many, I've tried every diet. But I've never really been an exerciser. I'm here because I need to exercise and I think the support found here can help me do it.

Cant wait to get to know you!

I'm right there with you! I'll be 38 in a month and I'm 230 lbs. I have 3 kids that I want to be here for but know that I need to do something quickly. I'm hoping that I can find the support I need on this site!

I'm from Michigan. How about you?

Welcome jamiesmama! Yes, you are right, you do have a lot to live for!! I am so glad you are here posting with us. I just know that you will lose weight. I am not much of an exerciser either. When you start feeling better, it will get easier and exercise will come. Yardwork, cleaning house is good to start with. Then maybe walks around the block. Baby steps. Glad you are here!!! WELCOME, You have found a great site with terrific people. If you can make this lifestyle change you will never regret it. I figure exercise is like sleep. I wouldn't go a day without sleep and I won't go a day without exercise.
I came here in January and have been and continue to do great. I'm never hungry, I eat every 2 1/2 - 3 hours. I eat healthy whole good for me foods. I wish you the best.
