Hello
Another newbie, must admit I tend to be more a lurker then a poster! I have joined this group as sometimes I just need that extra input. I love to see what others are doing to meet their goals and make this journey "fun" rather than a chore. So far the biggest help to me since I began this journey a month ago has been keeping a journal of my intake. It's not that I didn't realize what I was eating it is more holding me accountable for everything I put in my mouth, "do you really want to log that?" :?:

Hello Pacergal29 and Welcome, I do the same thing just lurk around reading what everyone is doing. I also write down what I take in but only by calories and fat, just to make sure I do not go over my calorie intake, I don't write down the name of the food. I do drink more water lately. I cut my diet pepsi intake to no more that 3-4 cans, which is good for me. I would do what you think will work for you, I would change things if not working and don't get down on yourself.

i am new too. i found a good site that helps track ur foods is www.fitday.com u just add ur foods to the list for the day and it gives u percentages of fats etc. welcome and good luck. glad u are posting now and not just lurking ;) |
