Hi - I am Amy, 33 y.o. boxer from SC. I have been in heavy weight classes for a few years and its taking a toll on my knees. I am using fat smash diet program and doing a lot more running to shed some weight. I am in pretty good athletic shape, but I really need to get my weight down in fighting. I am working with a nutritionists and my coach and doing it the right way. Big fight in Europe in July and need to be around 145/150 and not 165/170!

I was very overweight right after college (burgers, pizza and beer - oh my) and started training in self-defense when I first started teaching. That led to finding a boxing coach and a few matches here and there. Its the best exercise int he world, becuase it works your mind, body and spirit. It does for me, anyway. I am too hyper for yoga, spinning, or boring treadmills.
