New and need help
Hello everyone, I am 47 years old and weigh 160 lbs. I gain most of my weight when I am stressed. I take care of my grandchildren ages 6 and 4 and also my husband that has end stage liver disease. It seem that I have stopped caring about myself and have dedicated my life to serving others. I am not complaning about taking care of then I just want to get back on track. About six months ago my weight was 140 lbs but every time someone gives me a complament I start eating. My husband has always been jelous and does not like the attention I get when I lose weight but I want to lose weight and am commited to losing the weight again. I dont get out much but having the support from this group I know I can do something about the weight. Thanks for listening

I'm sure you'll find lots of information here and plenty of folks who understand. It does sound like you have a lot of stress! Golly! Do you have others who can help you? The basics of weight loss haven't changed--watch what you eat and get some exercise--you'll see that there are many ways to do that if you look around the site here. Good luck! Jay |
