So, what is this diet thing anyway?
Greetings,
As you can see from my title, I'm not much of a dieter. I tried Jenny Craig a few years back, but honestly... I ate the stingy little meals plus whatever I wanted. We can't call that a real diet, now can we? ;) Me? I'm 44, rapidly approaching 45. I was a tiny thing in my younger years, but have added 3-5 lbs each year to become the fluffy lump of flesh I am today. No kids, so I can't use pregnancy as an excuse. I just like to eat and don't like to move around much. So, I'm thinking about doing some form of Fat Smash, or other whole foods plan. I won't do fat-free or artificial sweeteners, so that limits me in some aspects. Would love to hear from other fortysomethings. Perimenopause is "special" isn't it? :dizzy: |
Good morning, welcome to 3FC :welcome:
I think you've come to the right place :D We have loads of 40-somethings and we are getting ready to add a special forum for us! We have a whole foods forum that might interest you as well. A lot of our members that live on whole foods either watch portions or count calories, instead of following a specific diet. We even have a Fat Smash forum :) Good luck! |
Welcome!!
