Hello Everyone,

I just registered this afternoon and wanted to officially say hello. You all seem like a great group; I've been lurking for awhile and have really enjoyed browsing your forums.

Looking forward to getting to know you all better!

Hi Mare!

Nice to meet you! I'm very impressed with your weight loss, by the way! It's hard to keep weight off, isn't it? Or, in my case, hard to get it to come off in the first place!

Best of luck to you. I feel really good about these forums....I think they're going to be very helpful.

Take care!

Thanks for reponding so quickly and thanks for the compliment. I just feel like I am starting all over again and it is very frustrating. How have you been doing so far?

Hi again Mare,

Well, as for me, I haven't been doing well at all, despite my very best efforts. You can read my sob story on the Support forum It's a true novel of epic porportions, I kid you not!

I think you're being too hard on yourself in regard to your weight gain. You have lost a LOT of weight! Yes, you did gain some back, but just the fact that you were able to lose it in the first place says so much about you as a person, and how you were at one time able to find within yourself what it took to drop the pounds. I'm truly impressed!

Talk to you later!

BOTH of you!!! This site is really wonderful and so many supportive people. I have been here a year now and I love it. I too live in Oregon and love the coast! Mare, congratulations on losing 142 pounds originally, that's wonderful! Atleast you're getting a hold on it in the beginning, that's great! If either of you need anything, feel free to PM me anytime.
